Your type of business: templates, categories and product pages
Car parts, parapharmacy, food, fashion… Each store says what it sells. laghazel then prepares page templates made for its trade, its first categories and the right fields on each product. Everything stays editable.
What the type changes
- Page templates: in Store page, you see the templates made for your trade, plus Souk and Produit star, offered to everyone.
- Starter categories: created once, while your catalog is still empty. Rename or delete them freely.
- The product page: a « Details » section for your trade (net weight, skin type, origin reference…), ready-made variants and suitable examples.
- Tools: search by vehicle for car parts, a box to compose for cakes, price on request, store pickup…
The templates of each trade
Souk and Produit star are added to every list. A trade opens to new stores once it has three templates: Appliances and high-tech, Medical equipment and Local shop are coming soon. Until then, choose « Other business ».

You choose the type in the request to open a store, just before your contact details. Later, change it in Settings › Store › Type of business.
Changing type deletes nothing: your products, their details and your page stay as they are. Your current template stays published, even if it isn’t in the new trade’s list.
A store opened before types of business sees every template, as before. Choose your type to get the ones made for your trade.
Banned products
Some products can’t be sold on laghazel: medicines, weapons, alcohol and tobacco, counterfeits, adult products. The list is on the Become a seller page.
When a product’s name or description contains a word from that list, laghazel checks it. A clear word (« syrup », « replica ») hides the product from your store meanwhile; a doubtful word (« tablets », « knife ») leaves it visible. Nothing is ever deleted: if laghazel removes a product, you see why on its page.
